Blank fielding rotation and batting order sheets for youth baseball and softball coaches. Print them, fill them in by hand, photocopy them for your coaches. No signup, no email, nothing to install.

Every rec-league coach ends up doing the same thing the night before a game: working out who plays where, inning by inning, and trying to remember who sat last week. These are the sheets for doing that on paper. They are deliberately black and white, because they get photocopied and handed around a dugout.

The sheets

How coaches use them

Fill in the batting order first, then work across the innings one position at a time rather than one player at a time. It is much faster and you are less likely to leave a hole.
Tick the innings-sat column every time a kid sits. That column is the whole point: it is what lets you start next week's sheet with the kids who sat most this week.
Keep last week's sheet. Fairness is a season-long thing, not a single-game thing. Any one game looks lopsided to a parent; six games should not.
Tape it to the fence. Parents who can see the rotation ask about playing time far less often than parents who cannot.

Using them at your league

You are welcome to print these for your team, hand them out at a coaches' meeting, post them on your league's website, or host the PDFs yourself. No attribution needed and no permission needed.
